Westpark I is a community in Irvine, California which features a Mediterranean architectural theme. Residents enjoy the footpaths which connect homes to parks and local schools.
Westpark is bounded by Culver Drive, the 405 Freeway, Irvine Center Drive, and Harvard Avenue. It is comprised of 12 home tracts which combine several condos, and single family home developments. The Vista subdivision was built by Fieldstone and has 154 homes as well as a swimming pool and spa. There are several floor plans that feature three to four bedrooms, up to three baths, and two-car garages. These homes have 1,787 to 2,138 square feet of living space. Streets that run through this tract include Barcelona, Corsica, Licata, Naples, Salina, and Trapani. There are many Westpark amenities supported by the Home Owners Association including tennis courts, swimming pools, barbeque facilities, parks, playgrounds, and basketball courts.
An “urban activity corridor” links the Westpark community to shopping centers, Irvine City Hall, and the Civic Center Plaza. This corridor also takes visitors to the Colonel Bill Barber Marine Corps Memorial Park which features 42 acres of soccer fields, batting cages, ball diamonds, and bicycle trails. Other parks nearby include San Carlo Park, San Leandro Park, Timber Run Park, and the Mark Daily Athletic Field.
Westpark is served by the Irvine Unified School District. Students may attend top rated Stone Creek Elementary School, Plaza Vista School, and Woodbridge High School. There are several private schools in Irvine including Spectrum Montessori, Creekside Children’s Center, and Tarbut V’torah Community Day School. This is also the home of the University of California, Irvine and Irvine Valley College.
There are many stores, services, and restaurants close by with the 405 Freeway easily accessed from this community. And golfers can find a tee time at the Oak Creek Golf Club or Rancho San Joaquin Golf Course.
